Shepherd’s Pie with Mince

Shepherd’s Pie with Mince

Shepherd’s Pie with Mince

When I was growing up in my parent’s house my mom made some amazing dishes. Being from England ours was a typical British household. One of my favorite dishes was Shepherd’s Pie. This classic rendition will definitely have people asking for more.

I just baked this recipe this afternoon and my wife was very impressed. It was her first time having a taste of my childhood and a little bit of England. I also like serving this will boiled cabbage mash on the side. The combination of both flavors is definitely a winning combination.

  1. I’m surprised to see a dish like Shepherd’s Pie on a site for lowering blood pressure. Even the American Heart Association acknowledges the benefits of vegetarian & vegan diet for lowering blood pressure, heart disease, cholesterol, & diabetes.
To have an articles about Zen meditation & monks (who do not eat animal products) & then this as your food choice is quite ironic & a poor choice.
It’s made me think this site is poorly educated about nutrition & what advice is it is doing out.

    1. This recipe came from the Cleveland Heart Clinic. Most of my heart healthy recipes come from hear or the American Heart Association. I am very careful as to what recipes I place on the web. But thank you for double checking me.
