Dr. Rowena Sobczyk, MD
Medical Director
Dr. Rowena, MD. is a family doctor in Atlanta, Georgia. She has over 20 years of practice experience.
Dr. Rowena completed a residency in Family Medicine and received a Master’s Degree in Community Health at the University of Minnesota.
She is the co-author of the book “Your Body, Your Health: How to Ask Questions, Find Answers, and Work With Your Doctor”. She also published a number articles encouraging people to take charge of their bodies and health.
She has a longstanding interest in helping patients reduce their cardiac risk through diet, exercise and other non-drug lifestyle changes. Not only has she been prescribing RESPeRATE use for years, but she is an avid user of the device.
Dr. Rowena is in charge of RESPeRATE’s “Ask Dr. Rowena” section, in which she answers general questions regarding hypertension, diet and general health from our newsletter subscribers.
She received her medical degree from the Medical University of South Carolina. In 2016 she joined the RESPeRATE team as the medical director.
