As we try to avoid the pills that induce sleep but leave us groggy and foggy the next morning, we look for more healthier alternative ways.Say goodbye to your sleep issues with this insomnia-fighting smoothie, loaded with ingredients high in tryptophan, protein, and Omega-3.

Banana Almond Butter Smoothie

  • 1 Banana, ripe
  • 1 cup Kale, leaves
  • 2 Kiwi fruits
  • 1/2 cup Almond milk
  • 1 tbsp Almond butter, raw
  • 2 tsp Flax seeds, ground
  • 1 cup Yogurt, natural

Sweet Dreams Smoothie Recipe

  • 1/2 cup warm milk
  • 1/2 fresh medium banana
  • 1/2 cup pitted cherries
  • 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1 teaspoon honey
The Add-ons
  • 1 tablespoon flax seeds
  • 1/4 cup almonds
  • 1/2 tablespoon cacao powder
Place the ingredients into your high-speed blender and blend for around 30-45 seconds or until your desired consistency is reached.

Peanut Butter Banana Smooth

  • 2 bananas
  • 2 Tbsp. honey
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup peanut butter
  • 2 cup ice cubes
Place all the ingredients into a blender. Blend for approximately 30 seconds or until smooth.

Cherry Pie Smoothie

  • 1 cup frozen or fresh cherries
  • 1/2 cup plain yogurt
  • 1/2 Tsp. vanilla
  • 1 Tsp. honey
  • 1 cup almond milk
  • 1/3 cup almond milk
Place all ingredients into your blender. Blend until smooth and add more milk to thin out.Who said falling asleep needs to be difficult. With a blender and the above ingredients, you can create a bedtime smoothie that is out of this world, low calorie, and delicious.
