Q: I take ibuprophen to help with sinus headaches. Can I take this with avalide or will it raise my BP? A: Non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, such as ibuprofen, can interact with high blood pressure medicines and cause them to not be as effective in controlling blood pressure. You need to talk to your doctor about other, safer medications you can take to treat your sinus symptoms.
