How Tiazac Reduces Blood Pressure Tiazac (diltiazem) is one of a class of blood pressure medication called Calcium Channel Blockers. Other brand names of diltiazem are Cardizem, Cardizem CD, Cardizem LA, Cartia XT, Dilacor XR, and Diltia XT.
