Dried fruits like apricots, raisins and blueberries, and all varieties of nuts, can be tossed together to make a satisfying and energizing snack that’s good-tasting and great for your overall health. Dried fruits are excellent sources of fiber, potassium, and antioxidants. Nuts, particularly almonds and cashews, add magnesium, making a handful of snack mix a good bet for helping to lower blood pressure, deliciously.
When a snack attack happens, it’s helpful to have a go-to snack option on hand that quickly satisfies. Keep in mind that due to the concentrated sugar in dried fruit, a little goes a long way, and for maximum health benefits, use only unsalted nuts.

- 1 bag (about 12 ounces) unsalted mini pretzels
- 4 ounces whole unsalted almonds
- 4 ounces raw unsalted cashews
- 4 ounces unsalted roasted peanuts
- 1 cup yogurt covered dark raisins
