Dr. Rowena Sobczyk is board certified by the American Board of Family Medicine. She received her medical degree from the Medical University of South Carolina and completed her residency at the University of Minnesota, where she also received a Master's Degree in Community Health. Besides her medical practice in Atlanta, she has published a number of books and articles encouraging individuals to take charge of their health.

Dr. Sobczyk has a longstanding interest in helping patients reduce their cardiac risk factors through diet, exercise and other non-drug lifestyle changes. As a result, she has been suggesting RESPeRATE use for years and has been an avid user herself.
